Clinacuity selected as part of the inaugural NIH I-Corps program
Clinacuity is one of few companies selected to participate in the inaugural cohort of the Innovation Corps (I-Corps™) Team Training Pilot Program at the NIH.
With the I-Corps program, the NIH seeks to accelerate the development and commercialization of new technologies, products and services that arise from projects supported by currently funded NIH technology transfer grants.
Collaboration with the Huntsman Cancer Institute
Clinacuity, Inc. has started collaborating with the Huntsman Cancer Institute, with Dr. William Dunson and his team, to integrate advanced NLP technology into their outpatient electronic health record.
The cancer outpatient population with complex conditions and numerous problems poses a difficult issue to clinicians. They would greatly benefit from complete lists of problems and allergies, but manually entering this information in a coded form is too complex and time consuming for clinicians. Clinacuity is helping them integrate CliniWhiz into their electronic health record and studying its impact.
